Driver License Testing

Driver's License Exams

License tests are arranged by Rae's Driving School. Driver license testing is done at our Madison Location. TESTS ARE OFFERED TO FULL COURSE STUDENTS ONLY ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS ONLY. Call or email us for dates and times. Use of Rae's car for the test is provided.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE DUE 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO A TEST DATE:

  1. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  2. And one of the following:
    • Photocopy of Social Security Card
    • Photocopy of up-to-date Passport
    • Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate
  3. Check for $40 made payable to DMV (Payable to Department of Motor Vehicles) - NON-REFUNDABLE
  4. Check for $75 made payable to Rae's Driving School - NON-REFUNDABLE
  5. carPiece of cancelled mail addressed to you, the student, cannot be addressed to the parents of.  Must be an envelope.  If you don't have one please mail yourself something. (This mail must show a postmark which is no older than 30 days)
  6. Photocopy of permit
  7. A photocopy of parent's drivers license
  8. Recent picture of yourself (class picture) NOT an ID - non-refundable

NOTE: Students may report to Hamden DMV the following day to pick up and pay for license.
